Frequently asked

Common questions

Is Tarkov.space free?

Yes, access is free. Just create an account so your progress is saved and follows you on any device.

Where does the quest data come from?

From the Escape from Tarkov Wiki on Fandom, read through the MediaWiki API. Quests, locations and Hideout stations, with objective and reward texts as they appear on the wiki, refreshed with every game update.

How do I know which quests are required for Kappa?

Every quest required for the Kappa container is flagged, and there is a filter to show only those. The progress screen shows how many of the 246 quests in the collection you have finished.

Can I see which items I need to keep?

Yes. The Items tab adds up everything your pending quests need plus the requirements of each Hideout station, flagging what must be found in raid (FIR). The item search tells you whether something is for a quest, for the Hideout, or both.

Can I compare my progress with a friend?

Yes. On the Compare screen you enter another player's account email or in-game nickname and see completed quests, XP, Kappa progress, Hideout levels and performance with each trader side by side. Anyone who prefers not to appear can turn comparison off in the profile menu.

How does the site know what I still need for the Hideout?

You set the level already built for each station and the item list subtracts what is behind you, showing only what is left. There are two views: what's still missing and the full game total, from zero to the end.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The site adapts to small screens, and since progress lives in your account you can start on the PC and continue on your phone.

Is the data updated every wipe?

Yes. The data is regenerated from the wiki whenever the game gets a wipe or a relevant patch. Your progress is not affected by the update.
